well, daylight savings time is only two weeks away and spring starts the following week. as I write today, we are having our first major storm of the winter. up till now, our winter has produced some of the best weather of the year! go figure?

this week’s market had great spring fruits and vegetables making an early showing, including seascape and chandler strawberries. once upon a time, strawberries where the signal to the start of spring, now available year round, thanks to modern methods and science. that said, I’ll eat mine in the spring!

so, with spring knocking at the door, we are rolling out our new spring 2014 menu! we will be pulling in the bounty from what our local growers, ranchers, and fishermen are offering up, adding a bit of spice and pizzazz and making it available to you. jump on a boat, saddle up the bike, put on your hiking boots, float a kayak, check the fishing tackle, heck, load up the rv and get out there. oh, and don’t forget to order up a bunch of CIP goodies.
